My update
Hi everyone
I went really well until 5 pm when dh came home. I then gave in and
had a cigarette, I had another later on at work. But I did not enjoy
them.
I have a problem - I am feeling light headed and fainty, is this
because I am not smoking? And will it pass?
I am still proud of myself for how well I did today, and hopefully I
will recognise the symptoms tomorrow and deal with them without
having a cigarette.
Thanks for the encouragement.
I am feeling so much more positive - I do not want a cigarette to
rule my life.

Welcome to the group Tracy.
Cognitive quitting is a perspective that usually takes a bit of time to
wrap our heads around. Give it a chance. Relax, settle in, and start to
think. We all think all the time anyway. even at rest, we are thinking
about something. So try pointing your thinking in chosen directions. Just
listen to these folks, we’re all headed in the same direction.
