Bad day

I have had a very bad day today - stressful……….
Gave in I am afraid!!! I am not proud of myself but I had to drop
one of the dogs off at the vets today and leave him, collecting him
soon. It was just a bit much for me. Now I am angry at myself and
anyone that steps in my path……..

Thanks so much for such a postive post. You are right - tomorrow is
a whole new day - and… stress free I hope.

Hi Lynne - I’m trying to think what Steve would advise here, and how
best you can go forward - because you can forward with this.
I think it’s important not to beat yourself up about it, but learn
from the experience so that you can go forward.
Maybe when you are feeling calmer, try to think about the sensations
you were experiencing just before you lit up. Was it the shortness of
breath and palpitations we feel when we get really stressed? What
else might have helped you then - some deep breathing perhaps? When
I feel stressed through worry or upset that often helps me a lot, and
tends to be my automatic response now, instead of thinking about a
cig. It did take practice though, but it is do-able. Listen to what
your body is telling you, and see what you can come up with to help
    you.
    take care

There are no stess free days. We are never stress free. In fact,
stress is the catalyst that moves us to do anything.
Create plans for how you’ll deal with the issues of the day.

How right you are - today seems as through it will be worse. One dog
was fighting this morning and the other (who had been to the vets)
    went walkabout by himself.
How did I deal with this. I sat and cried!!!!
