wonderful 11 hour sleep last night after a very challenging week -
and now I’m off for a bit of retail therapy. I think you should treat

Hi Pat
Well what did I do today. Didn’t go and spend on DH credit card but
nonetheless I have had a lovely day.
Spent all morning online and by about 1.30 thought I should have done
something cos hadn’t done anything.
Then realised that I had done the best thing in all the world I had spent
time talking to family and friends and in this technological age talking
online is as good as on the phone.
I spoke to one of my sons who has now downloaded icq which means we will be
able to communicate easier than even by email, I spoke to my brother in
australia and steve and pam from the group.
Then I had a call from my stepdaughter and grandson to say they were coming
to visit this afternoon - he was so excited at having presents for me. So I
popped up to the shop, got a few little treats and left him a note saying
they were from the Christmas Elf for him being such a good boy.
I love the magic of a 5 year old and although this little one is a
stepgrandson he is the only one of the ;steps’ I have known since birth so he
is very special. We had a lovely couple of hours playing - so I know how you
feel Pat when you can give smoke free hugs and snuggles to your grandchild -
its wonderful.
So now got to decide if I can be bothered to get ‘dolled up’ and tell DH to
take me out for dinner.
Had lots of ‘desires’ today on and off - figured them all out and dealt with
them on an individual basis.
I’m so pleased that I got put in touch with this group because you are all
such a caring bunch of people and all of us learn something from one another.
