Cognitive Quit

This sounds very logical and interesting.
I am at a month and a week and have been feeling that I would
like to take control but wasn’t sure how. I really like the idea of
coginitive quitting.
I don’t want to be the same person as the smoker but without
cigarettes. I want to be free from the drug and from the need to fill
in those hard times with something other than what is
appropriate.
I will let you know how this goes.
Glad to see so many people at this site!

Thank you Indi, I am definitely going to try.
I don’t want to be controlled by drugs and I would like my “broom”
to sweep properly. So I will try to come up with some good
    responses!
I printed out the ABC text and am going to read that tonight and
keep the ideas close to me. I am pretty self-aware unfortunately
but in this situation it might actually come in handy for monitoring
my thought processes. I will do my best.
