Hi Gail
Guess your kids go back to school tomorrow - have you got a plan, have you
made your lists - in order to achieve success you need to do something
different (if this isn’t your first quit) so its no good keep on putting off
the date until it is convenient - cos I can tell you as a long time heavy
smoker there is never a convenient time.
So planning to quit is just as important as quitting
Good luck

Hi Indi
Yup, my plan is to smoke my last one at 9 pm. Go to bed and hope I
can sleep. If not, read books. Wake around 6:00 a.m. to get the
kids up. I used to get up at 5:45 to smoke two cigs before they were
awake. No more, get them going and out. I can do that… 45 minutes
and ship them out. Then, I suppose my husband (who is quitting as
well, and on day 2 doing quite well) will still be in bed so I will
watch CNN. The rest of the day I plan to watch movies, take baths,
light candles, eat snacks, until the kids return at 3:00. Then I
will probably hide in my room and tell them not to fight. Just
kidding. Gail
