Isn’t there supposed to be sunshine during the day? Rain, rain go a
Good Morning all! Well ok it’s almost noon but I refuse to consider
myself lazy just because I haven’t seen the sunrise in 20 years
Thank you for all the hello’s! Some great advice in those messages. I
got to thinking at about 3 this morning while I was sitting up
wondering who was sucking all the oxygen out of the air about all the
times I’ve heard about how smoking will kill you, but no one ever
said it would be a slow and torturous death. ugh, what a negative
thought.
Anyway, I find myself noticing these “habits” much more often. And it
is very surprising just how much I do connect my daily life to
smoking. That in itself almost seems overwhelming just considering
all of the routines I have that will need to be changed so that
smoking isn’t a part of them.
Cindy did some research on zyban yesterday. Found out that it
actually was prescribed as an anti-depressant called welbutran before
it was discovered it would help with quitting smoking. We’ve been
taking the St.John Worts for about a month or so to help with the
mood changes and I’m wondering if continuing to take that along with
the zyban is a good thing or a bad thing.
Well I’m off to do some errands and then prepare for my investment
club meeting tonight. But I did want to tell Katie and Gail that I’m
thinking about you and hope that you are doing ok. God Bless!

Hi Ginia ( and Cindy too)
thanks for your message of support, and what you say is so true
Me too - really dawning on me loud and clear. Have you started on
your lists yet? Reasons for smoking, when/where/why you smoke etc?
Listen to me, the rookie on her 2nd day quit jumping in like this,
but the list making Steve got me doing really has helped such a lot.
I’m feeling a bit foggy headed tonight - the energy levels vary such
a lot in the day. I’m hyper in the morning, fit for not a lot at
night (its 8.30pm here) and my sleeping patterns gone to pot, but
I’m here, feeling positive.
See you soon - keep posting!

If it’s viewed as ’sooooooo much’, of course it’s overwhelming. We only
smoked one cig at a time in response to one event at a time. Deal with the
events one by one. As for the extent of the change in routines, it’s far
less than we initially believe. Yo,u are stnill going to get out of bed at
some point in the day. What changes is one thing, no cig. Well…. maybe
one or two other things will change also, but few of the changes will
include activities we’ve never done before. Different times and order
maybe, but it’s all known to us.
BAD THING Don’t do it. As far as I know, you NEVER combine
antidepressant agents.
