Cognitive Quit Smoking

Today is my 3 week anniversery for being a non-smoker. Even though I
have not posted since my first day, I have read each of your posts
and quite a few helped me get through to this point.
My sister Cat has been my biggest supporter, talking to me on line at
least 3-5 times a week. The night Steve’s puter crashed was the nite
he was going to help me start my ABC’ssoooo Cat to the rescue and I
got one done for sitting at the computer.
Today I talked to Cat on the phone and while most of you will find it
hard to believe she kind of nagged me about a few things. One was not
posting, two not continuing the ABC’s and the worst one was the pack
of cigs I discovered in my glove box 3 days after my quit that I
hadn’t thrown out. That pack was just bothering the h_ll out of her
so after I hung up I decided I’s go ahead and get rid of the pack. My
DH suggested I mail the pack to her (early b-day gift?) Instead we
took the pack out back….got the 12 ga shotgun….and yes a shotgun

blast at 6 ft away will shred 2/3 a pack of cigs…I was going to
bury the four remaining cigs, but my DH said I might be tempted to
dig them up. (Is there not faith???) So as I shreded them in the
garbage can I said out loud “This is for you Cathy”. Now of course I
know I really did this for myself!
That’s my post, I’ll try not to wait till my 3 month anniversery to
post again…bobbie
