There must be something in the air! last nite I dreamed I was smoking my
second before I chucked it out the car. The only way I believed it was only
all a dream was after I sniffed my fingers and didn’t smell smoke….weird
huh?

‘Smoking dreams’ seem to happen to most quitters at some point - I
I think the dreams bring home to us just how major a part of our
had plenty those first few months. It was always the same - I KNEW
I shouldn’t be smoking (felt like the naughty schoolkid who’d been
caught smoking behind the bike sheds), and mad that I’d have to
start my quit all over again. And always that huge sense of relief
when I realised it had all been a dream. Why that happens with
exsmokers I don’t know. I mean, I started on a diet a couple of
weeks ago (WW) but I don’t have dreams about hiding in a corner to
gorge on a bar of chocolate
lives - waking and sleeping even - smoking was. In a cognitive quit
we are thinking such a lot, and no doubt the thinking just carries
on into our subconscious and on into our dreams. We’re coming to
terms with so much when we quit.
see some of ya in chat
