More to the newbies/zyban
Several here have used Zyban with no ill effect: in my case I felt so
spaced out and super-tired I had to stop taking it, and I developed a rash
also. As you say Brenda, everyone’s body chemistry is different, therefore
zyban will affect us differently.

Seven, congrats on your quit
well done! It is great accupuncture worked
for you, I have heard it is quite effective myself.
About the Zyban, ANY medication, including penicilin can kill you. It has
proven itself to be quite helpful to others, and I just wanted to make sure
no one was panicked by that. I am taking Wellbrutrin SR (Zybans big brother)
and it literally saved my life because of depression. I experience zero side
effects, or none that I notice. On other similar medications, I did have
side effects. Everyone’s body chemistry is different, and one just has to be
very aware of their body and note any side effects. I am sorry that you had
a bad experience, I have heard a few others have troubles too.
An interesting thing to note, on regular zyban, I broke out in a rash, now
taking Wellbrutrin SR, nothing, not a problem. The sustained release may be
the factor there, so if someone is having some minor side effects from Zyban
I suggest talking to your doctor about Wellbrutrin SR. (You gotta remember
the SR part). Apparently the slow steady release has resulted in lower side
effects all around with it.
