Hello,
Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Susan,
I’m 40 years old and I live in Alaska. I live with my boyfriend,
don’t have any kids and am a mechanical engineer. I started smoking
when I was about 15 (or there abouts… can’t remember for sure).
I quit smoking a little over a month ago. I’m been using the methods
from a book called “Hooked - But Not Helpless” and so far I’m very
pleased. I found your web site a few weeks ago and am interested in
trying the some of your methods for a long term quit.
I look forward to talking to you all!

am trying to catch up on all the posts here and having a rough time
of it.. hahah I hope to get some good information on how to handle
the stress of quitting with a little more ease…and comfort..

Hi Neeny,
Yes, I’ve been to about.com several times in the past month. I
recognize your name too and enjoyed reading your posts. I’ve been
reading information at this site for the last week or so and am
really interested in trying the methods presented here.
It’s good to see a familiar name … it’s amazing really!

Hi Caisy,
Thanks for the welcome! I was just up in Fairbanks last week for
work (I live in anchorage). I also went to college there and loved
it. I can’t believe the lack of snow and warm weather! Nice to see
a fellow Alaskan!
Please feel free to e-mail me off site if you want… we can share
notes about Alaska, Fairbanks, etc! susan_gray363@….
