I need an excuse

Sorry I hit the wrong button.
Hi all I need your advice, I really need a very good excuse to go out at the
balcony.
Hubbies family is coming over. My appartment is pretty small I will be okay with
that did that before. Now the way I dealed with the stress I went out at the
baclcony for a smoke. They all don’t smoke there I was 10 minutes bymyself and
could relax. Now they know I quit but I still wont to go to the balcony and get
a break but I can’t tell them that. Is there any acceptable excuse I can use to
still be able to go to the balcony?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Carmen

How about going to the bathroom for 10 minutes?

I think that I would skirt around the truth, on the theory that
sitting alone in the bathroom just isn’t going to cut it. ;-) Maybe
tell them that, when you quit smoking, you discovered that what you
really missed wasn’t smoking but getting out on that balcony by
yourself for a few minutes. As part of your quit program, you decided
to continue going out there as frequently as you did before, just for
the fresh air and down time - that deep breathing the fresh air
really helps you not crave smoking.
They might think you’re eccentric, but at least they won’t be
insulted that what you really need is to get away from *them* - LOL! -
and they’re probably happy enough that you quit smoking that they’ll
be willing to indulge you a bit.
    Good luck!

Thank you that’s a reasonable suggestion.
