		<description>I think that I would skirt around the truth, on the theory that
sitting alone in the bathroom just isn't going to cut it. ;-) Maybe
tell them that, when you quit smoking, you discovered that what you
really missed wasn't smoking but getting out on that balcony by
yourself for a few minutes. As part of your quit program, you decided
to continue going out there as frequently as you did before, just for
the fresh air and down time - that deep breathing the fresh air
really helps you not crave smoking.
They might think you're eccentric, but at least they won't be
insulted that what you really need is to get away from *them* - LOL! -
and they're probably happy enough that you quit smoking that they'll
be willing to indulge you a bit.
