Roll call!
How’s the new folk? Ellen, John, Patti, Sherry, Amy, Mary……. and I’m sure
there are more of you in the background, reading. Lets hear how you’re getting
on, whether you need any help. This is an active quit, and the more you work at
it, the easier you’ll find it.

Hi Pam…guess everyone is busy. Does everyone arrange a chat time whenever
they meet?

hi Pam - I’m still here. I’m not having any trouble. I just went out of town
My younger sister got inspiration from me and has quit chewing
- she used to rodeo). She is on her
for the weekend by myself (drove 600+ miles). I had a few cravings at first but
glided through them. The weekend then became peaceful and enjoyable. My
foundation statements are my first defense and from there it’s easy. Since I no
longer smoke what is it that I am craving - can’t be a cigarette cause I don’t
smoke!
tobacco ( we make ‘em tough in Montana
third week and doing pretty well. Do chewers get more nicotine than smokers?
She can’t afford NRT so it’s been pretty tough for her.
I hope you are having a fun summer. Take care and be well.

This group has been pretty quiet these past few weeks - it would be good to hear
from you, and how your quits are progressing. New members all receive a letter
giving details about how to get started on a cognitive quit - I’m hoping you’re
working away on lists and timer exercises, reading over at Steve’s site, and
generally ‘doing the work’
Pleeeeaase - post a few lines at least to introduce yourselves including a bit
about your smoking history, Ask any questions you’d like. This is an active
method of quitting, and posting helps us to help you - and each other.
bye now

Hi, I am Paula. I have been a non-smoker for almost 4 weeks. It has not been
