I had a physical sensation!!

I’m so excited and that really sounds weird. My timer went off at
12. My event was “still doing a billing”. Emotion was hungry.
Indeed a smoking situation. No physical sensation…just mental. So
I ate my big, juicy pear. (can’t eat lunch yet because we walk/run
at 1:00 and you will bring up what you ate at noon)
It was what happened next. I got up to walk to the washroom and
passed Marcia’s (my sometimes supplier for cigs)desk. My eyes opened
wide, my head rather went “BOING” and my stomach turned for a second.
I wanted to walk back by her desk and ask for a cigarette BADLY. It
was so out of the blue. Mind you, I pass that desk ten times a day
with no thought of smokes.
I think what happened is that I had two events happen within two
minutes. I had finished eating the pear, which 11 days ago would
have called for a cigarette, then immediately walked past someone who
has cigarettes. Bear with me because I thought hard on this and feel

really smart at the moment.
I’m thinking that often we have more than one event at a time and you
can go back to smoking before you know what hit you. After eating I
didn’t even think about a smoke; passing that desk all I thought
about was a cigarette. Constant events are life. I’m glad I was
doing the timer exercise because it made events foremost in my brain
and gave me much food for thought.
End of ramble.
