.Some Feedback

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

Hi Steve and everyone
I haven’t been keeping up with reporting about my quit but that’s
becos I caught the chikungunya flu.
Anyway I have continued to stay quit and am nearly 6 weeks and it’s
got to be over a thousand cigs I haven’t smoked!!
I feel better physically and I can see I look better too, colour in
my face has improved and I look quite rosy.
This is just a short note but will write more about my psychological
effects of the quit soon which nearly turned me into a madwoman but
luckily I learned about Cog Quitting !!!
Thanks Steve
Peace, Love & Hugs

Hi Ann,
A while back you were working at recognizing your body cues. How’s it going
with that?

I quit smoking for 2 days this time, i’ve tried a hundred times before
but what happens is i get bored or whatever and then i get to the
point where just to get thru the day I have to sleep, I mean all day
and nite, my family goes crazy, how do I get thru this without
sleeping all the time it’s like I can’t face being awake without cigs.
I know it’s sick but its true..Lori

site….I’m a computer nerd and haven’t figured it out yet.

I’m not lost…really

I’ve managed to cut my smoking from 20/day to 11/day in 1 week and my
deadline date is a week away! My biggest hurdle is smoking in the
morning with my coffee and computer so I won’t be spending a lot of
time at the computer as I have been. Needlepoint is a good hobby to
take up to keep your hands busy (yes, men needlepoint too!) and that’s
how I’ve been keeping busy (along with the ugly chores of housework
LOL).
Anyway…I’m off to do some physical stuff since I’m getting the mouth
watering and fidgety feeling.
Good luck and thanks for all the info I’ve gathered. I’ll stop by from
time to time.

Where do I start? I’ve DL’d the timer template and read (as well as
understand) the website. Anything else I need to get started?

Morning is bad

Friday, April 13th, 2007

Dear Steve, I did some timer exercises for a bit yesterday. At times I
was so busy cooking and things that I didn’t really notice my body
cues. I have a problem in the morning in a wake up however, it isn’t a
feeling in the morning, it’s a thought, I want a cigarette. I don’t
know really what to do about that thought. Kerry
