I do not smoke.
3 days 4 hours 54 minutes.
I am using Chantix.
I also am monitoring my body/emotions
for cues, journalling and working on
my very serious problem of negative
self-talk.
I have slept a lot the last 3 days.

Hi Kim,
Actually, it isn’t hard work. What’s ‘hard work’ is hanging on trying to
choose not to smoke when there’s an internal mechanism that’s saying
‘light up, you’ll feel better’. Your body cues are not alien to you,
they’re only below your radar. With just a little bit of effort you can
become very aware of them. As soon as you know what your body is telling
you, what it needs in terms of breathing a bit better in the moment or
stretching etc, you’ll find that it’s easy to choose effective
responses. At that point, urges disappear and you’re on your way to
being comfortably quit.
